Gradual loss of sensation
In some cases, we would also experience a progressive loss of sensation in a given area of the body, usually becoming worse and extending to other regions as the tumor grows. This happens when the tumor is located near the postcentral gyrus in the parietal lobe, which is the brain structure that receives and interprets the sensation of touch and pressure.
