Loss of balance
When tumors are located in the cerebellum, they might interfere with the normal function of this structure, which includes stability and coordination of movements. Thus, patients with tumors in this area would have difficulties keeping their balance and even walking properly. They might also have a difficult time coordinating their movements, especially when it comes to fine motor skills, such as cutting with scissors, writing with a pencil, or folding clothes.
