Aggravating symptoms after eating
All of the symptoms we just described are triggered or become worse after a large meal or heavy drinking. They would stimulate the digestive function of the pancreas, force the gland to work harder, and aggravate the symptoms. In some cases, pancreatitis results from a blockade in the opening to the intestines. In such cases, the pancreatic juice produced after eating or heavy drinking would get stuck in the way, go backward to the pancreas and start digesting and destroying the gland itself.
