BP lowering supplements
The supplements are readily available to help lower blood pressure:
Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid; the supplementation of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids or fish oil in your diet can have many advantages. A mean blood pressure decrease of 4.5 mm Hg systolic and 3.0 mm Hg diastolic was found in a meta-analysis of fish oil and blood pressure.
Whey Protein; In addition to the possibility of decreasing blood pressure, this milk protein complex can have several medical benefits.
Magnesium; A higher blood pressure is linked to magnesium deficiency. A meta-analysis found that magnesium supplementation reduces blood pressure slightly.
Coenzyme Q10; In a few small trials the systemic blood pressure decreased by 17 mm Hg and by 10 mm Hg with antioxidant CoQ10.
Oral L-citrulline; in human body Citrulline is a precursor of l-arginine, which can lower blood pressure. It is a protein building block.
