Pathological fractures
Patients with osteolytic lesions may feature pathological fractures, or it is diagnosed on routine examination to evaluate other diseases. Secondary metastatic masses in the bones also cause pathological fractures, such as compression fracture of the spine, and hip fractures. The patient usually has a history of spontaneous and acute onset of pain or after a small fall.
