Pelvic pain
The type of pain often associated with cervical cancer is pelvic pain located underneath the area of the belly button. It is often described as an oppressive or dull pain that is maintained in time in contrast with cramps and colic pain, which often comes and goes. Pelvic pain usually has an origin in the vagina or any other part of the female reproductive system, and it only appears in late-stage cancer, when the tumor is large enough to cause an inflammatory condition and compression to the nerve terminals.
