Stomach ache and poor appetite
A child suffering from leukemia can complain of chronic stomach ache. This is because white blood cells grow in the spleen, liver, and kidneys. Abnormally high production of these cells causes them to expand – resulting in the abnormal shape and functioning of the these organs. In certain cases, the swollen abdominal organs can be detected by a doctor.
This causes the distention of abdominal organs, and the development of symptoms such as stomach aches, swelling, and bloating.
