B cell symptoms
When we have a compromise in precursor B cells, we will have similar symptoms. They include fever, drenching night sweats and weight loss. They are called B symptoms. B symptoms are seen in almost 30 to 35% of cases of Hodgkin lymphoma. Fever is low grade and irregular, sometimes cyclical and persistent from days to weeks, followed by intervals without any type of fever. This pattern is also known as Pel-Epstein fever.
