Cardiovascular symptoms
Patients with mediastinal lymphomas can develop cardiovascular symptoms if they have an obstruction of the major vessels, such as the superior vena cava, leading to superior vena cava syndrome. This ailment is characterized by facial, head and neck edema, shortness of breath, headache, chest pain, and redness above the area of the neck.
