(D) Testicular Mesothelioma Symptoms
Testicular mesothelioma occurs in tunica vaginalis testis (the lining of the testicles). While there are only a few cases reported worldwide, commonly reported signs and symptoms include pain and swelling in the testicles. Other symptoms include;
- Fluid buildup
- Lump or mass in the scrotum
- Inflammation of the epididymis (epididymitis)
- Swelling around the scrotum (hydrocele)
Testicular mesothelioma is often misdiagnosed as a case of testicular hernia.
