Bleeding
Pyogenic granuloma bleeds to the touch. Carcinoma of the lips can also bleed, especially the ulcerative type. Bleeding from the carcinoma of the tongue is a late feature, due to an overgrowth of blood vessels. Melanomas can also ulcerate and bleed in the late stages of oral cancer.
