Heartburn
It is another common symptom associated with gastric problems. It is described as acute retrosternal burning pain, which increases when the patient is lying flat. It is due to the reflux of the gastric contents back into the esophagus. Dyspepsia is the medical term used for such a backflow of gastric contents.
