Anemia
Anemia is the clinical name of the reduction in levels of hemoglobin under the normal values for age and gender. It may be caused by various factors, often associated with nutritional deficiencies and chronic disease. In kidney cancer, it is often caused by iron deficiency and blood. Patients look pale or with skin lighter than usual, and they often feel muscle weakness and chronic fatigue. In some cases, anemia would also cause difficulty to breathe and heart palpitations.
However, it is important to note that there are plenty of common causes of anemia, and kidney cancer is not the first option to rule out. In most cases, a complete blood analysis would reveal another cause, and only a skilled professional would be able to see the difference. Thus, ask your doctor about your condition and perform routine check-ups to detect kidney cancer or the underlying condition to start an early treatment.
