Hard consistency and irregular surface
The tumor on palpation may be firm and hard. The surface of the affected testicle is usually round or irregular, but mostly spherical. A nodular mass on the testicle may be palpated, but it is rare (epididymis is typically nodular). On percussion, the tumor sounds dull.
